Consumer Proposals & Division 1 Proposals - Avoiding Bankruptcy Pickering / Ajax

Depending on your financial situation, you might be able to fix your debt problems without using our services. These alternatives are Consumer Proposals and Division 1 Proposals. They are part of the same legislation that controls bankruptcy, and they can enable you to come to a legally binding agreement with your unsecured creditors. These agreements will reduce the total amount of unsecured debt that you will need to repay, spread your payments out over a period not to exceed 5 years, and stop all collection efforts by your unsecured creditors. In exchange, you will attend credit counselling sessions and honour the terms of your agreement.
