However, if Personal Bankruptcy is your only reasonable course of action, we will work closely with you to make the process  as smooth and fair as possible.

As your Bankruptcy Trustee, we will:

• work with you to fill in the required bankruptcy forms
• file your bankruptcy documents with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy
• act as an intermediary between you and your unsecured creditors
• administer your required payments (if any) and manage disbursement to your creditors
• handle the settlement of your non-exempt assets
• notify all your creditors of your bankruptcy status
• if required - attend (with you) a creditors' meeting
• follow the requests of the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (if any)
• guide you through two credit counselling sessions– specifically designed to provide you with the knowledge and tools you will need to move forward financially towards a better future
• file and forward a Trustee's Report to all of your creditors regarding your discharge application
• if required - attend your Discharge Hearing
• when the bankruptcy is completed - ensure that you receive an Order of Absolute Discharge - which is legal notification that you have been released by all the debts covered in your Bankruptcy
